Uneek SNK Chukka

The Uneek SNK Chukka was designed as a winter version of the Uneek SNK and built on the same tooling package. The upper utilizes Uneek cording into the bungie lacing system creating a unique take on the slip-on winter stovepipe boot. My role for this project included upper design and materials selection.

This project involved a lot of exploration to translate the Uneek sandal into a winter boot. Different collar heights, closure systems, collar constructions and tooling packages were ideated and sampled, resulting in the release of a men’s and women’s chukka. The Uneek SNK Chukka saw the most success in the Japanese market with multiple SMU’s and colorways introduced.
