Whakata Puffy Insulated

The Whakata Puffy Mid and Low are an update and addition to the Whakata collection. In spring 2022, the Whakata collection released with a sandal, slide and the first puffy. The Mid and Low puffy introduced a knit collar, improved bio and recycled content and an upper mesh that could receive sublimation prints. My role for this project included upper, materials and color design.

Launched before Oboz had SE Asian distribution, the Whakata collection started with a slow sell-in, however with the introduction of international distributers, the Puffy and it’s siblings have received greater interest in the South Korean and Japanese markets.
